Isaiah 60:1
The Future Glory of Israel
1 aArise, shine, for your light has come,and bthe glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:22
22 cThe least one shall become a clan,and the smallest one a mighty nation;
dI am the Lord;
in its time I will hasten it.
Isaiah 61:3-6
3to grant to those who mourn in Zion—eto give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes,
fthe oil of gladness instead of mourning,
the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit;
gthat they may be called oaks of righteousness,
the planting of the Lord, hthat he may be glorified. ▼
▼Or that he may display his beauty
4 jThey shall build up the ancient ruins;
they shall raise up the former devastations;
they shall repair the ruined cities,
the devastations of many generations.
5 kStrangers shall stand and tend your flocks;
foreigners shall be your plowmen and vinedressers;
6 lbut you shall be called the priests of the Lord;
they shall speak of you as the ministers of our God;
myou shall eat the wealth of the nations,
and in their glory you shall boast.
Isaiah 61:10-11
10 nI will greatly rejoice in the Lord;my soul shall exult in my God,
ofor he has clothed me with the garments of salvation;
he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decks himself plike a priest with a beautiful headdress,
qand as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up,
so the Lord God will cause rrighteousness and praise
to sprout up before all the nations.
Malachi 4:2
2But for you swho fear my name, tthe sun uof righteousness shall rise vwith healing in its wings. You shall go out wleaping like calves from the stall.Acts 4:32
