Isaiah 60:15-22

15 aWhereas you have been forsaken and hated,
with no one passing through,
bI will make you majestic forever,
a joy from age to age.
16 cYou shall suck the milk of nations;
you shall nurse at the breast of kings;
and you shall know that dI, the Lord, am your Savior
and your Redeemer, ethe Mighty One of Jacob.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold,
and instead of iron I will bring silver;
instead of wood, bronze,
instead of stones, iron.
I will make your overseers peace
fand your taskmasters righteousness.
18 gViolence shall no more be heard in your land,
devastation or destruction within your borders;
hyou shall call your walls Salvation,
and your gates Praise.
19 iThe sun shall be no more
your light by day,
nor for brightness shall the moon
give you light;
Masoretic Text; Dead Sea Scroll, Septuagint, Targum add by night

but the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.
Or  your beauty

20Your sun shall no more go down,
nor your moon withdraw itself;
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and lyour days of mourning shall be ended.
21 mYour people shall all be righteous;
nthey shall possess the land forever,
othe branch of my planting, the work of my hands,
that I might be glorified.
Or  that I might display my beauty

22 qThe least one shall become a clan,
and the smallest one a mighty nation;
rI am the Lord;
in its time I will hasten it.

Ezekiel 17:22-24

22Thus says the Lord God: s“I myself will take a sprig from the lofty top of the cedar and will set it out. tI will break off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and uI myself will plant it on a high and lofty mountain. 23 vOn the mountain height of Israel will I plant it, that it may bear branches and produce fruit and become a noble cedar. wAnd under it will dwell every kind of bird; in the shade of its branches birds of every sort will nest. 24And all the trees of the field shall know that I am the Lord; xI bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up ythe green tree, and make zthe dry tree flourish. aaI am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it.”

Ezekiel 47:1-12

Water Flowing from the Temple

1Then he brought me back to abthe door of the temple, and behold, acwater was issuing from below adthe threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from below the south end of the threshold of the temple, south of aethe altar. 2Then he brought me out by way of afthe north gate and led me around on the outside to agthe outer gate that faces toward the east; and behold, the water was trickling out on the south side.

3Going on eastward with a measuring line in his hand, ahthe man measured a thousand cubits,
A  cubit was about 18 inches or 45 centimeters
and then led me through the water, and it was ankle-deep.
4Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was knee-deep. Again he measured a thousand, and led me through the water, and it was waist-deep. 5Again he measured a thousand, and it was a river that I could not pass through, for the water had risen. It was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be passed through. 6And he said to me, ajSon of man, akhave you seen this?”

Then he led me back to the bank of the river.
7As I went back, I saw on the bank of the river alvery many trees on the one side and on the other. 8And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into amthe Arabah, and enters the sea;
That is,  the Dead Sea
when the water flows into aothe sea, the water will become fresh.
Hebrew will be healed; also verses 9, 11
9And wherever the river goes,
Septuagint, Syriac, Vulgate, Targum; Hebrew  the two rivers go
every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea
Hebrew lacks  the waters of the sea
may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.
10Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From asEngedi to atEneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of authe Great Sea.
That is,  the Mediterranean Sea; also verses 15, 19, 20
11But its swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they are to be left for salt. 12And on the banks, awon both sides of the river, there will grow axall kinds of trees for food. ayTheir leaves will not wither, nor their fruit fail, azbut they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and batheir leaves for healing.”

Daniel 2:34-35

34As you looked, a stone was cut out bbby no human hand, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and bcbroke them in pieces. 35Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, all together were broken in pieces, and became bdlike the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, so that benot a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became bfa great mountain bgand filled the whole earth.

Daniel 2:44-45

44And in the days of those kings bhthe God of heaven will set up bia kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. bjIt shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and bkit shall stand forever, 45just as blyou saw that bma stone was cut from a mountain by no human hand, and that bnit broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold. A bogreat God has made known to the king what shall be after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.”

Micah 4:1-2

The Mountain of the Lord

1 It shall come to pass bpin the latter days
that the mountain of the house of the Lord
shall be established as the highest of the mountains,
and it shall be lifted up above the hills;
and peoples shall flow to it,
2and many nations shall come, and say:
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob,
that he may teach us his ways
and that we may walk in his paths.”
For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
Or teaching

and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
