Isaiah 60:4-12

4 aLift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
byour sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5Then you shall see and cbe radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
Hebrew  your heart shall tremble and grow wide

because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
ethe wealth of the nations shall come to you.
6A multitude of camels shall cover you,
the young camels of fMidian and gEphah;
all those from hSheba shall come.
iThey shall bring gold and frankincense,
and shall bring good news, the praises of the Lord.
7All the flocks of jKedar shall be gathered to you;
the rams of kNebaioth shall minister to you;
lthey shall come up with acceptance on my altar,
mand I will beautify my beautiful house.
8 Who are these that fly like a cloud,
and nlike doves to their windows?
9For othe coastlands shall hope for me,
pthe ships of Tarshish first,
qto bring your children from afar,
their silver and gold with them,
for the name of the Lord your God,
and for the Holy One of Israel,
because rhe has made you beautiful.
10 sForeigners shall build up your walls,
and ttheir kings shall minister to you;
for in my wrath I struck you,
but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
11 uYour gates shall be open continually;
day and night they shall not be shut,
vthat people may bring to you the wealth of the nations,
with their kings led in procession.
12 wFor the nation and kingdom
that will not serve you shall perish;
those nations shall be utterly laid waste.

Daniel 4:10-14

10 xThe visions of my head as I lay in bed were these: I saw, and ybehold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great. 11 zThe tree grew and became strong, and its top reached to heaven, and it was visible to the end of the whole earth. 12 aaIts leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. abThe beasts of the field found shade under it, and acthe birds of the heavens lived in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.

13“I saw in adthe visions of my head as I lay in bed, and behold, aea watcher, afa holy one, came down from heaven. 14He agproclaimed aloud and said thus: ahChop down the tree and ailop off its branches, ajstrip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. akLet the beasts flee from under it and the birds from its branches.

Daniel 4:21-23

21 alwhose leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, and in which was food for all, under which beasts of the field found shade, and in whose branches the birds of the heavens lived 22 amit is you, O king, who have grown and become strong. anYour greatness has grown and reaches to heaven, aoand your dominion to the ends of the earth. 23And because the king saw apa watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, aqChop down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump of its roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field, and let him be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till arseven periods of time pass over him,’

Hosea 14:7

7They shall return and asdwell beneath my

they shall flourish like the grain;
they shall blossom like the vine;
their fame shall be like the wine of Lebanon.

Matthew 13:32

32It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

The Parable of the Net

47Again, the kingdom of heaven is aulike a net that was thrown into the sea and avgathered fish of every kind. 48When it was full, awmen drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad.
