Isaiah 60:4-5

4 aLift up your eyes all around, and see;
they all gather together, they come to you;
byour sons shall come from afar,
and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.
5Then you shall see and cbe radiant;
your heart shall thrill and exult,
Hebrew  your heart shall tremble and grow wide

because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
ethe wealth of the nations shall come to you.

Isaiah 66:12-14

12 For thus says the Lord:
fBehold, I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream;
and gyou shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip,
and bounced upon her knees.
13As one whom his mother comforts,
so hI will comfort you;
you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;
iyour bones shall flourish like the grass;
and jthe hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants,
and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Luke 15:5-10

5And when he has found it, khe lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for lI have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who mrepents than over ninety-nine nrighteous persons who need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

8Or what woman, having ten silver coins,
Greek  ten drachmas; a drachma was a Greek coin approximately equal in value to a Roman denarius, worth about a day’s wage for a laborer
if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it?
9And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ 10Just so, I tell you, there is joy before pthe angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Luke 15:23-24

23And bring qthe fattened calf and kill it, and rlet us eat and celebrate. 24For this my son swas dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate.

Luke 15:32

32It was fitting tto celebrate and be glad, for this your brother uwas dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’”

Acts 11:18

18When they heard these things they fell silent. And they vglorified God, saying, wThen to the Gentiles also God has xgranted yrepentance that leads to life.”
