Matthew 8:11-12

11I tell you, kmany will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 lwhile the sons of the kingdom mwill be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place nthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Woe to Unrepentant Cities

20 oThen he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent. 21 pWoe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in qTyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 rBut I tell you, it will be more bearable on sthe day of judgment for tTyre and Sidon than for you. 23And you, uCapernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to vHades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 wBut I tell you that xit will be more tolerable on ythe day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.”

Matthew 12:40-42

40For zjust as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, aaso will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 abThe men of Nineveh will rise up at the judgment with this generation and accondemn it, for adthey repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold, aesomething greater than Jonah is here. 42 afThe queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, agsomething greater than Solomon is here.
