Isaiah 64:9-12

9 aBe not so terribly angry, O Lord,
band remember not iniquity forever.
Behold, please look, we are all your people.
10 cYour holy cities have become a wilderness;
Zion has become a wilderness,
Jerusalem a desolation.
11 dOur holy and beautiful
Or  holy and glorious
house,
where our fathers praised you,
has been burned by fire,
and all our pleasant places have become ruins.
12 fWill you restrain yourself at these things, O Lord?
Will you keep silent, and afflict us so terribly?

Zechariah 11:10-11

10And I took gmy staff Favor, and I broke it, annulling the covenant that I had made with all the peoples. 11So it was annulled on that day, and the sheep traders, who were watching me, knew that it was the word of the Lord.

Some manuscripts  For finding fault with it he says to them

qBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah,
9not like the covenant that I made with their fathers
on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt.
For they did not continue in my covenant,
and so I showed no concern for them, declares the Lord.
10 rFor this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws into their minds,
and swrite them on their hearts,
and I will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
11And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor
and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’
for they shall tall know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12For I will be merciful toward their iniquities,
uand I will remember their sins no more.”
