Isaiah 65:1-2

Judgment and Salvation

1 aI was ready to be sought by bthose who did not ask for me;
I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that was not called by
Or  that did not call upon
my name.
2 dI spread out my hands all the day
to a rebellious people,
who walk in a way that is not good,
following their own devices;

Romans 1:18-32

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

18For ethe wrath of God fis revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19For what can be gknown about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, hhave been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,
Or  clearly perceived from the creation of the world
in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.
21For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they jbecame futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 kClaiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and lexchanged the glory of mthe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24Therefore nGod gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to othe dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for pa lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, qwho is blessed forever! Amen.

26For this reason rGod gave them up to sdishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, tmen committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, uGod gave them up to va debased mind to do wwhat ought not to be done. 29They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Though they know xGod’s righteous decree that those who practice such things ydeserve to die, they not only do them but zgive approval to those who practice them.

Romans 4:11

11 aaHe received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was abto make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,

Romans 10:20

20Then Isaiah is so bold as to say,

ac“I have been found by those who did not seek me;
I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9Or do you not know that the unrighteous
Or wrongdoers
will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: aeneither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
The two Greek terms translated by this phrase refer to the passive and active partners in consensual homosexual acts
10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And agsuch were some of you. But ahyou were washed, aiyou were sanctified, ajyou were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Ephesians 2:12

12remember akthat you were at that time separated from Christ, alalienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to amthe covenants of promise, anhaving no hope and without God in the world.

Ephesians 4:17-19

The New Life

17Now this I say and aotestify in the Lord, apthat you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, aqin the futility of their minds. 18They arare darkened in their understanding, asalienated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, due to attheir hardness of heart. 19They auhave become callous and avhave given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.
