Isaiah 65:5

5who say, “Keep to yourself,
do not come near me, for I am too holy for you.”
aThese are a smoke in my nostrils,
a fire that burns all the day.

Matthew 7:1

Judging Others

1 bJudge not, that you be not judged.

Romans 2:1-2

God’s Righteous Judgment

1Therefore you have cno excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For din passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. 2We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things.

Romans 14:3-4

3Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and elet not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. 4 fWho are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master
Or lord
that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Romans 14:10-16

10Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For hwe will all stand before ithe judgment seat of God; 11for it is written,

j“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess
Or  shall give praise
to God.”
12So then leach of us will give an account of himself to God.

Do Not Cause Another to Stumble

13 mTherefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide nnever to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. 14I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus othat nothing is unclean in itself, pbut it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. 15For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, qyou are no longer walking in love. rBy what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. 16 sSo do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil.

1 Corinthians 4:3-5

3But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 tFor I am not aware of anything against myself, ubut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5Therefore vdo not pronounce judgment before the time, wbefore the Lord comes, xwho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. yThen each one will receive his commendation from God.

James 4:11-12

11 zDo not speak evil against one another, brothers.
Or  brothers and sisters
The one who speaks against a brother or abjudges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge.
12There is only acone lawgiver and adjudge, he who is able to save and aeto destroy. But afwho are you to judge your neighbor?
