Isaiah 65:6-9

6Behold, ait is written before me:
b“I will not keep silent, but I will repay;
cI will indeed repay into their lap
7both your iniquities dand your fathersiniquities together,

says the Lord;
ebecause they made offerings on the mountains
fand insulted me on the hills,
I will measure into their lap
payment for their former deeds.”
Or  I will first measure their payment into their lap

8 Thus says the Lord:
hAs the new wine is found in the cluster,
and they say, ‘Do not destroy it,
for there is a blessing in it,’
so I will do for my servantssake,
iand not destroy them all.
9 jI will bring forth offspring from Jacob,
and from Judah possessors of my mountains;
my chosen shall possess it,
and my servants shall dwell there.

Isaiah 65:18

18But be glad and rejoice forever
in that which I create;
for behold, kI create Jerusalem to be a joy,
and her people to be a gladness.

Zechariah 13:8-9

8In the whole land, declares the Lord,
two thirds shall be cut off and perish,
land one third shall be left alive.
9And mI will put this third into the fire,
and refine them as one refines silver,
and test them as gold is tested.
nThey will call upon my name,
and oI will answer them.
pI will say, ‘They are my people’;
and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’”

Matthew 24:22

22And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for qthe sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Romans 9:27-29

27And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: rThough the number of the sons of Israel
Or children of Israel
be as the sand of the sea, tonly a remnant of them will be saved,
28for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” 29And as Isaiah predicted,

u, vIf the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring,
wwe would have been like Sodom
and become like Gomorrah.”

Galatians 4:26-27

26But xthe Jerusalem above is free, and she is our mother. 27For it is written,

yRejoice, O barren one who does not bear;
break forth and cry aloud, you who are not in labor!
For the children of the desolate one will be more
than those of the one who has a husband.”
