Isaiah 66:10-14

10 aRejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her,
all you who love her;
rejoice with her in joy,
all you who mourn over her;
11that you may nurse and be satisfied
from her consoling breast;
that you may drink deeply with delight
from her glorious abundance.”

12 For thus says the Lord:
cBehold, I will extend peace to her like a river,
and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream;
and dyou shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip,
and bounced upon her knees.
13As one whom his mother comforts,
so eI will comfort you;
you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
14You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;
fyour bones shall flourish like the grass;
and gthe hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants,
and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Luke 1:58

58And her neighbors and relatives heard that the Lord hhad shown great mercy to her, and they rejoiced with her.

Luke 15:5-10

5And when he has found it, ihe lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for jI have found my sheep that was lost.’ 7Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who krepents than over ninety-nine lrighteous persons who need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

8Or what woman, having ten silver coins,
Greek  ten drachmas; a drachma was a Greek coin approximately equal in value to a Roman denarius, worth about a day’s wage for a laborer
if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and seek diligently until she finds it?
9And when she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ 10Just so, I tell you, there is joy before nthe angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Acts 11:23

23When he came and saw othe grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord pwith steadfast purpose,

1 Corinthians 12:26

26If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, qall rejoice together.

2 Corinthians 2:3

3And I wrote as I did, so that when I came I might not suffer pain from those who should have made me rejoice, rfor I felt sure of all of you, that my joy would be the joy of you all.
