Isaiah 66:14-16

14You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice;
ayour bones shall flourish like the grass;
and bthe hand of the Lord shall be known to his servants,
and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Final Judgment and Glory of the Lord

15 For behold, cthe Lord will come in fire,
and dhis chariots like the whirlwind,
to render his anger in fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16For eby fire fwill the Lord enter into judgment,
and by his sword, with all flesh;
and those slain by the Lord shall be many.

Ezekiel 38

Prophecy Against Gog

1The word of the Lord came to me: 2 gSon of man, hset your face toward iGog, of the land of jMagog, the kchief prince of lMeshech
Or  Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech
and nTubal, and oprophesy against him
3and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, pI am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech
Or  Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech
and Tubal.
4 rAnd I will turn you about and sput hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and tall your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords. 5 uPersia, vCush, and wPut are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 xGomer and all his yhordes; zBeth-togarmah from aathe uttermost parts of the north with all his hordesabmany peoples are with you.

7 ac“Be ready and keep ready, you and all your hosts that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. 8 adAfter many days you will be mustered. aeIn the latter years you will go against afthe land that is restored from war, the land whose people agwere gathered from many peoples upon ahthe mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and ainow dwell securely, all of them. 9You will advance, coming on ajlike a storm. You will be aklike a cloud covering the land, you and all your alhordes, and many peoples with you.

10Thus says the Lord God: On that day, amthoughts will come into your mind, and you will devise an evil scheme 11and say, ‘I will go up against anthe land of unwalled villages. I will fall upon aothe quiet people who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having no bars or gates,’ 12to seize spoil and carry off plunder, to turn your hand against apthe waste places that are now inhabited, and aqthe people who were gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, arwho dwell at the center of the earth. 13 asSheba and atDedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all auits leaders
Hebrew young lions
will say to you, ‘Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your hosts to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to seize great spoil?’

14Therefore, awson of man, prophesy, and say to axGog, Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are aydwelling securely, azwill you not know it? 15You will come from your place out of bathe uttermost parts of the north, you and bbmany peoples with you, bcall of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army. 16You will come up against my people Israel, bdlike a cloud covering the land. beIn the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, bfI vindicate my holiness before their eyes.

17Thus says the Lord God: Are you bghe of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel, who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them? 18But on that day, the day that Gog shall come against the land of Israel, declares the Lord God, bhmy wrath will be roused in my anger. 19For biin my jealousy and in my blazing wrath I declare, On that day bjthere shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 bkThe fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, blshall quake at my presence. And bmthe mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground. 21 bnI will summon a sword against Gog
Hebrew  against him
on all my mountains, declares the Lord God. bpEvery man’s sword will be against his brother.
22With pestilence and bloodshed bqI will enter into judgment with him, and brI will rain upon him and bshis hordes and the many peoples who are with him bttorrential rains and hailstones, bufire and sulfur. 23So I will show my greatness and my bvholiness and bwmake myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then bxthey will know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 39

1“And you, byson of man, bzprophesy against caGog and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, cbI am against you, O Gog, ccchief prince of cdMeshech
Or  Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech
and cfTubal.
2 cgAnd I will turn you about and drive you forward, and bring you up from chthe uttermost parts of the north, and lead you against the cimountains of Israel. 3Then cjI will strike your bow from your left hand, and ckwill make your arrows drop out of your right hand. 4 clYou shall fall on cmthe mountains of Israel, you and all your cnhordes and the peoples who are with you. coI will give you to birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5You shall fall in the open field, for cpI have spoken, declares the Lord God. 6 cqI will send fire on crMagog and on those cswho dwell securely in ctthe coastlands, and cuthey shall know that I am the Lord.

7“And cvmy holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel, and cwI will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. And cxthe nations shall know that I am cythe Lord, the Holy One in Israel. 8 czBehold, it is coming and it will be brought about, declares the Lord God. That is the day daof which I have spoken.

9“Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and dbmake fires of the weapons and burn them, shields and bucklers, bow and arrows, dcclubs
Or javelins
and spears; and they will make fires of them for seven years,
10so that they will not need to take wood out of the field or cut down any out of the forests, for dethey will make their fires of the weapons. dfThey will seize the spoil of those who despoiled them, and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord God.

11“On that day I will give to dgGog a place for burial in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the sea. It will block the travelers, for there Gog and all his multitude will be buried. It will be called the Valley of dhHamon-gog.
 Hamon-gog means the multitude of Gog
12For djseven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order dkto cleanse the land. 13All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day that dlI show my glory, declares the Lord God. 14They will set apart men to travel through the land regularly and bury those travelers remaining on the face of the land, so as dmto cleanse it. At
Or Until
the end of doseven months they will make their search.
15And when these travel through the land and anyone sees a human bone, then he shall set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of dpHamon-gog. 16(Hamonah
 Hamonah means multitude
is also the name of the city.) Thus shall they cleanse the land.

17“As for you, drson of man, thus says the Lord God: dsSpeak to dtthe birds of every sort and to duall beasts of the field: ‘Assemble and come, gather from all around to dvthe sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great sacrificial feast on the mountains of Israel, and you shall eat flesh and drink blood. 18 dwYou shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth—of rams, of lambs, and of he-goats, of bulls, all of them dxfat beasts of Bashan. 19And you shall eat fat till you are filled, and drink blood till you are drunk, at the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you. 20And you shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men and all kinds of warriors,’ declares the Lord God.

21“And dyI will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see dzmy judgment that I have executed, and eamy hand that I have laid on them. 22 ebThe house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward. 23And ecthe nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they dealt so treacherously with me that edI hid my face from them and eegave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword. 24I dealt with them efaccording to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and hid my face from them.

The Lord Will Restore Israel

25Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now egI will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on ehthe whole house of Israel, and eiI will be jealous for my holy name. 26They shall ejforget their shame and all the treachery they have practiced against me, when ekthey dwell securely in their land with elnone to make them afraid, 27 emwhen I have brought them back from the peoples and gathered them from their enemieslands, enand through them have vindicated my holiness in the sight of many nations. 28 eoThen they shall know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them into exile among the nations and then assembled them into their own land. I will leave none of them remaining among the nations anymore. 29 epAnd I will not hide my face anymore from them, when eqI pour out my Spirit upon the house of Israel, declares the Lord God.”

Joel 3:8-16

8I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the erSabeans, to a nation far away, for the Lord has spoken.”

9 Proclaim this among the nations:
esConsecrate for war;
Or  Consecrate a war

stir up the mighty men.
Let all the men of war draw near;
let them come up.
10 euBeat your plowshares into swords,
and evyour pruning hooks into spears;
let the weak say, “I am a warrior.”
11 ewHasten and come,
all you surrounding nations,
and gather yourselves there.
exBring down your warriors, O Lord.
12Let the nations stir themselves up
and come up to eythe Valley of Jehoshaphat;
ezfor there I will sit to judge
all the surrounding nations.
13 faPut in the sickle,
fbfor the harvest is ripe.
fcGo in, tread,
fdfor the winepress is full.
The vats overflow,
for their evil is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes,
in the valley of decision!
For fethe day of the Lord is near
in the valley of decision.
15 ffThe sun and the moon are darkened,
and the stars withdraw their shining.
16 fgThe Lord roars from Zion,
and fhutters his voice from Jerusalem,
fiand the heavens and the earth quake.
But the Lord is fja refuge to his people,
a stronghold to the people of Israel.

Obadiah 18

18 fkThe house of Jacob shall be a fire,
and the house of Joseph a flame,
and the house of Esau flstubble;
they shall burn them and consume them,
fmand there shall be no survivor for the house of Esau,

for the Lord has spoken.

Micah 5:8

8And fnthe remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,
in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
like a young lion among the flocks of sheep,
fowhich, when it goes through, treads down
and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

Micah 5:15

15And in anger and wrath fpI will execute vengeance
on the nations that did not obey.
