Isaiah 66:5

5 Hear the word of the Lord,
you who tremble at his word:
“Your brothers who hate you
and cast you out for my name’s sake
have said, a‘Let the Lord be glorified,
that we may see your joy’;
but it is they who shall be put to shame.

Ezekiel 16:52-56

52 bBear your disgrace, you also, for you have intervened on behalf of your sisters. Because of your sins in which you acted more abominably than they, they are more in the right than you. So be ashamed, you also, and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.

53 c“I will restore their fortunes, both the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters, and the fortunes of Samaria and her daughters, and I will restore your own fortunes in their midst, 54that you may bear your disgrace dand be ashamed of all that you have done, ebecoming a consolation to them. 55As for your sisters, Sodom and her daughters shall return to their former state, fand Samaria and her daughters shall return gto their former state, hand you and your daughters shall return ito your former state. 56Was not your sister Sodom a byword in your mouth jin the day of your pride,

Luke 6:37

Judging Others

37 k, lJudge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; mforgive, and you will be forgiven;

Romans 2:1-2

God’s Righteous Judgment

1Therefore you have nno excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For oin passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. 2We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things.

Romans 14:3-4

3Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and plet not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. 4 qWho are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master
Or lord
that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Romans 14:10-13

10Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For swe will all stand before tthe judgment seat of God; 11for it is written,

u“As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,
and every tongue shall confess
Or  shall give praise
to God.”
12So then weach of us will give an account of himself to God.

Do Not Cause Another to Stumble

13 xTherefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide ynever to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother.

1 Corinthians 4:3-5

3But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 zFor I am not aware of anything against myself, aabut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5Therefore abdo not pronounce judgment before the time, acbefore the Lord comes, adwho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. aeThen each one will receive his commendation from God.
