Isaiah 8:11-14

Fear God, Wait for the Lord

11 For the Lord spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and ^awarned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: 12 “Do not call ^bconspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and ^cdo not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. 13 But the Lord of hosts, ^dhim you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14 And he will become a ^esanctuary and ^fa stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 35:4

4 Say to those who have an anxious heart,
“Be strong; fear not!
^gBehold, your God
will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you.”

Isaiah 41:14

14 Fear not, you ^hworm Jacob,
you men of Israel!
I am the one who helps you, declares the Lord;
your ⁱRedeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 51:12-13

12 “I, I am he ^jwho comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of ^kman who dies,

Matthew 10:28
