Fear God, Wait for the Lord

11For the Lord spoke thus to me with his strong hand upon me, and awarned me not to walk in the way of this people, saying: 12“Do not call bconspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and cdo not fear what they fear, nor be in dread. 13But the Lord of hosts, dhim you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14And he will become a esanctuary and fa stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isaiah 35:4

4Say to those who have an anxious heart,
“Be strong; fear not!
gBehold, your God
will come with vengeance,
with the recompense of God.
He will come and save you.”

Isaiah 41:14

14 Fear not, you hworm Jacob,
you men of Israel!
I am the one who helps you, declares the Lord;
your iRedeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 51:12-13

12 “I, I am he jwho comforts you;
who are you that you are afraid of kman who dies,
of the son of man who is made llike grass,
13and have forgotten the Lord, your Maker,
mwho stretched out the heavens
and nlaid the foundations of the earth,
and you fear continually all the day
because of the wrath of othe oppressor,
when he sets himself to destroy?
And where is the wrath of pthe oppressor?

Matthew 10:28

28And qdo not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him rwho can destroy both soul and body in hell.
