Isaiah 8:14

14And he will become a asanctuary and ba stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Jeremiah 13:16

16 cGive glory to the Lord your God
dbefore he brings darkness,
before your feet stumble
on the twilight mountains,
and ewhile you look for light
he turns it into gloom
and makes it fdeep darkness.

Ezekiel 3:20

20 gAgain, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, hand I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. iBecause you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, jand his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, kbut his blood I will require at your hand.

Romans 9:33

33as it is written,

lBehold, I am laying in Zion ma stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
nand whoever believes in him will not be oput to shame.”

Romans 11:9

9And David says,

p“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them;

1 Peter 2:8

8and

q“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, ras they were destined to do.
