Isaiah 8:14

14And he will become a asanctuary and ba stone of offense and a rock of stumbling to both houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Romans 9:32-33

32Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the cstumbling stone, 33as it is written,

dBehold, I am laying in Zion ea stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
fand whoever believes in him will not be gput to shame.”

1 Corinthians 1:23-24

23but we preach Christ hcrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ithe power of God and jthe wisdom of God.

1 Peter 2:7-8

They stumble because they disobey the word, sas they were destined to do.
