66 agAfter this many of his disciples turned back and no longer walked with him.

Romans 9:32-33

32Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the ahstumbling stone, 33as it is written,

aiBehold, I am laying in Zion aja stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense;
akand whoever believes in him will not be alput to shame.”
