Romans 4:14-16

14 fFor if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void. 15For gthe law brings wrath, but hwhere there is no law ithere is no transgression.

16That is why it depends on faith, jin order that the promise may rest on grace and kbe guaranteed to all his offspringnot only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, lwho is the father of us all,

Romans 10:5

The Message of Salvation to All

5For mMoses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that nthe person who does the commandments shall live by them.

Galatians 3:12-13

12But the law is not of faith, rather o“The one who does them shall live by them.” 13Christ predeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for usfor it is written, qCursed is everyone who is hanged ron a tree”—

Galatians 3:21-22

21Is the law then contrary to the promises of God? Certainly not! For sif a law had been given that could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law. 22But the Scripture timprisoned everything under sin, so that uthe promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given vto those who believe.
