Isaiah 8:7

7 therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them ^athe waters of ^bthe River, mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it ^cwill rise over all its channels and go over all its banks,

Isaiah 10:8-13

8 for he says:
^d“Are not my commanders all kings?
9 ^eIs not ^fCalno like ^gCarchemish?
Is not ^hHamath like ⁱArpad?
^jIs not ^kSamaria like Damascus?
10 As my hand has reached to ^lthe kingdoms of the idols,
whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,

I remove the boundaries of peoples,
and plunder their treasures;
like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.

Ezekiel 31:3-10

3 Behold, ^tAssyria was a ^ucedar in ^vLebanon,

Daniel 4:37

37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, ^ampraise and extol and honor the ^anKing of heaven, ^aofor all his works are right and his ways are just; and ^apthose who walk in pride he is able to humble.
