Isaiah 8:7-8

7therefore, behold, the Lord is bringing up against them athe waters of bthe River, mighty and many, the king of Assyria and all his glory. And it cwill rise over all its channels and go over all its banks, 8and it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass on, dreaching even to the neck, and its eoutspread wings will fill the breadth of your land, fO Immanuel.”

Isaiah 25:4

4 gFor you have been a stronghold to the poor,
a stronghold to the needy in his distress,
ha shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat;
ifor the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall,

Isaiah 28:15-19

15Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death,
and with Sheol we have an agreement,
when the joverwhelming whip passes through
it will not come to us,
for we have made klies our refuge,
and in falsehood we have taken shelter”;
16therefore thus says the Lord God,
lBehold, I am the one who has laid

as a foundation nin Zion,
a stone, a tested stone,
a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation:
‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’
17And I will make justice othe line,
and righteousness pthe plumb line;
and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies,
and waters will overwhelm the shelter.”
18Then qyour covenant with death will be annulled,
and your agreement with Sheol will not stand;
when the overwhelming scourge passes through,
you will be beaten down by it.
19As often as it passes through it will take you;
rfor morning by morning it will pass through,
by day and by night;
and it will be ssheer terror to understand the message.

Isaiah 29:6

6 tyou will be visited by the Lord of hosts
with thunder and with earthquake and great noise,
with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.

Isaiah 30:30

30And the Lord uwill cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger vand a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst wand storm and hailstones.

Ezekiel 13:11

11say to those who smear it with whitewash that it shall fall! xThere will be a deluge of rain, and you, O great hailstones, will fall, and a stormy wind break out.

Nahum 1:8

8But ywith an overflowing flood
he will make a complete end of the adversaries,
Hebrew  of her place

and aawill pursue his enemies into darkness.

Matthew 7:25-27

25And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like aba foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”
