16 for those who guide this people have been leading them astray,
and those who are guided by them are swallowed up.

31 ^athe prophets prophesy falsely,
and the priests rule at their direction;
^bmy people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?

14 Let them alone; ^cthey are blind guides. ^{▼▼Some manuscripts add of the blind} And ^eif the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
