Ch 9:1 in Hebrew
bThe people cwho walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of ddeep darkness,
on them has light shone.

Isaiah 42:6-7

6I am the Lord; eI have called you
The Hebrew for  you is singular; four times in this verse
in righteousness;
I will take you by the hand and keep you;
I will give you gas a covenant for the people,
ha light for the nations,
7 ito open the eyes that are blind,
to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon,
jfrom the prison those who sit in darkness.

Isaiah 49:6

6he says:
“It is too light a thing that you should be my servant
to raise up the tribes of Jacob
and to bring back the preserved of Israel;
kI will make you las a light for the nations,
that mmy salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Isaiah 60:1-3

The Future Glory of Israel

and othe glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.

9 ajThe true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

John 3:19
