Isaiah 9:4

4 aFor the yoke of his burden,
band the staff for his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor,
you have broken as con the day of Midian.

Isaiah 10:16-19

16Therefore the Lord God of hosts
will send wasting sickness among his dstout warriors,
and under his glory ea burning will be kindled,
like the burning of fire.
17 fThe light of Israel will become a fire,
and ghis Holy One a flame,
and hit will burn and devour
his thorns and briers iin one day.
18The glory of jhis forest and of his kfruitful land
the Lord will destroy, both soul and body,
and it will be as when a sick man wastes away.
19The remnant of the trees of his forest will be so few
that a child can write them down.

Isaiah 10:32-34

32This very day he will halt at lNob;
he will shake his fist
at the mount of mthe daughter of Zion,
the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Behold, the Lord God of hosts
nwill lop othe boughs with terrifying power;
the great in height will be hewn down,
and the lofty will be brought low.
34He will cut down pthe thickets of the forest with an axe,
and qLebanon will fall by the Majestic One.

Isaiah 17:12-14

12 Ah, rthe thunder of many peoples;
they thunder like the thundering of the sea!
Ah, the roar of nations;
they roar like the roaring of mighty waters!
13 sThe nations roar like the roaring of many waters,
tbut he will rebuke them, and they will flee far away,
chased ulike chaff on the mountains before the wind
and vwhirling dust before the storm.
14 wAt evening time, behold, terror!
Before morning, they are no more!
This is the portion of those who loot us,
and the lot of those who plunder us.

Isaiah 30:30-33

Isaiah 31:8-9

8 ah“And the Assyrian shall fall by a sword, not of man;
and a sword, not of man, shall devour him;
and he shall flee from the sword,
and his young men shall be aiput to forced labor.
9 ajHis rock shall pass away in terror,
and his officers desert the standard in panic,”
declares the Lord, whose akfire is in Zion,
and whose alfurnace is in Jerusalem.

Isaiah 37:36-38

36 amAnd the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies. 37Then Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and returned home and lived at anNineveh. 38And as he was worshiping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer, his sons, struck him down with the sword. And after they escaped into the land of aoArarat, apEsarhaddon his son reigned in his place.
