Isaiah 9:6-7

6 ^aFor to us a child is born,
to us ^ba son is given;
^cand the government shall be ^dupon ^{▼▼Or is upon} his shoulder,

Wonderful ^gCounselor, ^hMighty God,
ⁱEverlasting ^jFather, Prince of ^kPeace.
7 Of the increase of his government and of peace
^lthere will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
^mwith justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
ⁿThe zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.

Jeremiah 33:15-17

15 In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous ^oBranch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days Judah will be saved, ^pand Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: ^q‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

17 “For thus says the Lord: ^rDavid shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel,

Jeremiah 33:26

26 then I will reject the offspring of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his offspring to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. ^sFor I will restore their fortunes and will have mercy on them.”

Ezekiel 34:23-24

23 And ^tI will set up over them one shepherd, ^umy servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And ^vI, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. ^wI am the Lord; I have spoken.

Ezekiel 37:24-25

24 “My servant ^xDavid ^yshall be king over them, and they shall all have ^zone shepherd. ^aaThey shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes. 25 ^abThey shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children shall dwell there ^acforever, and David my servant shall be their prince ^adforever.

Hosea 3:5

5 Afterward ^aethe children of Israel shall return and ^afseek the Lord their God, and ^agDavid their king, ^ahand they shall come in fear to the Lord and to his goodness in the ^ailatter days.
