Patience in Suffering

7Be patient, therefore, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verses 9, 10, 12, 19
until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives cthe early and the late rains.
8You also, be patient. dEstablish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord eis at hand. 9Do not grumble against one another, brothers, fso that you may not be judged; behold, gthe Judge is standing hat the door. 10As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take ithe prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of jthe steadfastness of Job, and you have seen kthe purpose of the Lord, how lthe Lord is compassionate and merciful.

Revelation of John 13:10

10 mIf anyone is to be taken captive,
to captivity he goes;
nif anyone is to be slain with the sword,
with the sword must he be slain.
oHere is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.
