16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. ^aAll such boasting is evil.

18 For, ^bspeaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely ^cescaping from those who live in error.

16 These are grumblers, malcontents, ^dfollowing their own sinful desires; ^ethey are loud-mouthed boasters, ^fshowing favoritism to gain advantage.
