Jeremiah 1:11-14

11And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, aJeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see an almond
 Almond sounds like the Hebrew for watching (compare verse 12)
branch.”
12Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”

13The word of the Lord came to me a second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see ca boiling pot, facing away dfrom the north.” 14Then the Lord said to me, eOut of the north disaster
The Hebrew word can mean evil, harm, or  disaster, depending on the context; so throughout Jeremiah
shall be let loose upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Ezekiel 2:9

9And when I looked, behold, ga hand was stretched out to me, and behold, ha scroll of a book was in it.

Amos 7:4-7

4 iThis is what the Lord God showed me: behold, the Lord God was calling jfor a judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep and was eating up the land. 5Then I said,

“O Lord God, please cease!
kHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”
6 lThe Lord relented concerning this:
This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.
7 mThis is what he showed me: behold, the Lord was standing beside a wall built with na plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.

Amos 8:2

2And he said, oAmos, what do you see?” And I said, p“A basket of summer fruit.” Then the Lord said to me,

q“The end
The Hebrew words for  end and  summer fruit sound alike
has come upon my people Israel;
I will never again pass by them.
