Jeremiah 1:14

14Then the Lord said to me, aOut of the north disaster
The Hebrew word can mean evil, harm, or  disaster, depending on the context; so throughout Jeremiah
shall be let loose upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Jeremiah 25:9

9 cbehold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, dmy servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, eand make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 46:6

6 “The swift cannot flee away,
nor the warrior escape;
fin the north by the river Euphrates
gthey have stumbled and fallen.

Jeremiah 46:10

10 hThat day is the day of the Lord God of hosts,
ia day of vengeance,
jto avenge himself on his foes.
kThe sword shall devour and be sated
and drink its fill of their blood.
For the Lord God of hosts holds la sacrifice
min the north country nby the river Euphrates.

Jeremiah 47:2

2 Thus says the Lord:
oBehold, waters are rising pout of the north,
qand shall become an overflowing torrent;
they shall overflow rthe land and all that fills it,
the city and those who dwell in it.
Men shall cry out,
and every inhabitant of the land shall wail.
