Jeremiah 1:14-15

14Then the Lord said to me, aOut of the north disaster
The Hebrew word can mean evil, harm, or  disaster, depending on the context; so throughout Jeremiah
shall be let loose upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15For behold, cI am calling all the tribes of the kingdoms of the north, declares the Lord, dand they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, against all its walls all around and against all the cities of Judah.

Jeremiah 4:6

6 eRaise a standard toward Zion,
flee for safety, stay not,
for I bring disaster from fthe north,
gand great destruction.

Jeremiah 6:1

Impending Disaster for Jerusalem

1 Flee for safety, hO people of Benjamin,
from the midst of Jerusalem!
Blow the trumpet in iTekoa,
and raise a signal on jBeth-haccherem,
for disaster looms kout of the north,
and great destruction.

Jeremiah 25:9

9 lbehold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the Lord, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, mmy servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, nand make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

Jeremiah 46:10
