Jeremiah 1:17-19

17 But you, ^adress yourself for work; ^{▼▼Hebrew gird up your loins} arise, and ^csay to them everything that I command you. ^dDo not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them. 18 And I, behold, I make you this day ^ea fortified city, ^fan iron pillar, and ^gbronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. 19 ^hThey will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for ⁱI am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”

Jeremiah 15:19-21

19 Therefore thus says the Lord:

If you utter what is precious, and not what is worthless,

They shall turn to you,

a fortified wall of bronze;
