Jeremiah 1:7

7But the Lord said to me,

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’;
for to all to whom I send you, you shall go,
and awhatever I command you, you shall speak.

Jeremiah 1:17-19

17But you, bdress yourself for work;
Hebrew gird up your loins
arise, and dsay to them everything that I command you. eDo not be dismayed by them, lest I dismay you before them.
18And I, behold, I make you this day fa fortified city, gan iron pillar, and hbronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests, and the people of the land. 19 iThey will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you, for jI am with you, declares the Lord, to deliver you.”

Jeremiah 4:19

Anguish over Judah’s Desolation

19 kMy anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain!
Oh the walls of my heart!
My heart is beating wildly;
I cannot keep silent,
for I hear the sound of the trumpet,
the alarm of war.

Jeremiah 6:11

11Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord;
lI am weary of holding it in.
m“Pour it out upon the children in the street,
and upon the gatherings of young men, also;
nboth husband and wife oshall be taken,
the elderly and the very aged.

Jeremiah 20:9

9If I say, “I will not mention him,
or speak any more in his name,”

Ezekiel 3:11

A Watchman for Israel

16 acAnd at the end of seven days, the word of the Lord came to me: 17 adSon of man, aeI have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. Whenever you hear a word from my mouth, you shall afgive them warning from me. 18 agIf I say to the wicked, ah‘You shall surely die,’ aiand you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person ajshall die for
Or in; also verses 19, 20
his iniquity, albut his blood I will require at your hand.
19 amBut if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, or from his wicked way, he shall die for his iniquity, anbut you aowill have delivered your soul. 20 apAgain, if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and commits injustice, aqand I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die. arBecause you have not warned him, he shall die for his sin, asand his righteous deeds that he has done shall not be remembered, atbut his blood I will require at your hand. 21But if you warn the righteous person not to sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he took warning, and you will have delivered your soul.”

Micah 3:8

8But as for me, auI am filled with power,
with the Spirit of the Lord,
and with justice and might,
to declare to Jacob avhis transgression
and to Israel his sin.
