Jeremiah 11:17

17The Lord of hosts, awho planted you, has decreed disaster against you, because of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have done, bprovoking me to anger by making offerings to Baal.”

Jeremiah 45:4

4Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: cBehold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up—that is, the whole land.

Ezekiel 17:5-10

5Then he took of the seed of the land dand planted it in fertile soil.
Hebrew  in a field of seed
He placed it beside abundant waters. fHe set it like a willow twig,
6and it sprouted and became a glow hspreading vine, and its branches turned toward him, and its roots remained where it stood. So it became a vine and produced branches and put out boughs.

7 i“And there was another great eagle with great wings and much plumage, jand behold, this vine bent its roots toward him and shot forth its branches toward him from kthe bed where it was planted, that he might water it. 8 lIt had been planted on good soil by abundant waters, that it might produce branches and bear fruit and become a noble vine.

9Say, Thus says the Lord God: mWill it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots and cut off its fruit, so that it withers, so that all its fresh sprouting leaves wither? It will not take a strong arm or many people to pull it from its roots. 10Behold, it is planted; will it thrive? nWill it not utterly wither when the east wind strikes it—wither away on the bed where it sprouted?”

Ezekiel 19:10-13

10 Your mother was olike a vine in a vineyard
Some Hebrew manuscripts; most Hebrew manuscripts  in your blood

planted by the water,
qfruitful and full of branches
rby reason of abundant water.
11Its strong stems became
rulersscepters;
it towered aloft
among the thick boughs;
Or  the clouds

it was seen in its height
with the mass of its branches.
12But the vine was plucked up in fury,
cast down to the ground;
tthe east wind dried up its fruit;
they were stripped off and withered.
As for its strong stem,
fire consumed it.
13 uNow it is planted in the wilderness,
in a dry and thirsty land.
