Jeremiah 12:1

Jeremiah’s Complaint

1 aRighteous are you, O Lord,
when I complain to you;
yet I would plead my case before you.
bWhy does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all cwho are treacherous thrive?

Jeremiah 12:6

6For deven your brothers and the house of your father,
eeven they have dealt treacherously with you;
they are in full cry after you;
fdo not believe them,
though they speak friendly words to you.”

Hosea 5:7

7 gThey have dealt faithlessly with the Lord;
for they have borne alien children.
Now the new moon shall devour them with their fields.

7 But hlike Adam they itransgressed the covenant;
jthere they dealt faithlessly with me.

Micah 7:2-5

2 kThe godly has perished from the earth,
and lthere is no one upright among mankind;
mthey all lie in wait for blood,
and neach hunts the other with a net.
3 oTheir hands are on what is evil, to do it well;
pthe prince and qthe judge ask for a bribe,
and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul;
thus they weave it together.
4The best of them is rlike a brier,
the most upright of them a thorn hedge.
The day of syour watchmen, of your punishment, has come;
tnow their confusion is at hand.
5 uPut no trust in a neighbor;
have no confidence in a friend;
guard vthe doors of your mouth
from her who lies in your arms;

Zephaniah 3:4

4 xHer prophets are fickle, treacherous men;
yher priests zprofane what is holy;
they do violence to the law.

Malachi 2:11

11Judah has been aafaithless, and abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem. For abJudah has profaned the sanctuary of the Lord, which he loves, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
