Jeremiah 12:1

Jeremiah’s Complaint

1 ^aRighteous are you, O Lord,
when I complain to you;
yet I would plead my case before you.
^bWhy does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all ^cwho are treacherous thrive?

Daniel 9:7

7 To you, ^dO Lord, belongs righteousness, but to us open shame, as at this day, to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, ^ethose who are near and ^fthose who are far away, in ^gall the lands to which you have driven them, because of ^hthe treachery that they have committed against you.

Daniel 9:14

14 ⁱTherefore the Lord has kept ready the calamity and has brought it upon us, ^jfor the Lord our God is righteous in all the works that he has done, and ^kwe have not obeyed his voice.
