Jeremiah 12:5

The Lord Answers Jeremiah

5 If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you,
how will you compete with horses?
And if in a safe land you are so trusting,
what will you do in athe thicket of the Jordan?

Matthew 24:21-24

21For then there will be bgreat tribulation, csuch as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for dthe sake of the elect those days will be cut short. 23 eThen if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ orThere he is!’ do not believe it. 24For ffalse christs and gfalse prophets will arise and hperform great signs and wonders, iso as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Luke 11:4

4and jforgive us our sins,

And klead us not into temptation.”

Luke 22:31

Jesus Foretells Peter’s Denial

2 Corinthians 11:23-28

23Are they pservants of Christ? qI am a better one—I am talking like a madmanwith far greater labors, rfar more imprisonments, swith countless beatings, and toften near death. 24Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the uforty lashes less one. 25Three times I was vbeaten with rods. wOnce I was stoned. Three times I xwas shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, ydanger from my own people, zdanger from Gentiles, aadanger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 abin toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, acin hunger and thirst, often without food,
Or  often in fasting
in cold and exposure.
28And, apart from other things, there is the daily pressure on me of my anxiety for aeall the churches.

Ephesians 6:12-13
