The Lord Will Not Relent

1Then the Lord said to me, a“Though bMoses cand Samuel dstood before me, yet my heart would not turn toward this people. Send them out of my sight, and let them go! 2And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

e“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

Jeremiah 39:9

9Then fNebuzaradan, the gcaptain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, hthose who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

Ezekiel 5:2

2 mA third part you shall burn in the fire nin the midst of the city, owhen the days of the siege are completed. And a third part you shall take and strike with the sword all around the city. pAnd a third part you shall scatter to the wind, and qI will unsheathe the sword after them.

Ezekiel 12:15-16

15 rAnd they shall know that I am the Lord, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them among the countries. 16 sBut I will let a few of them escape from the sword, from famine and pestilence, that they may declare all their abominations among the nations where they go, tand may know that I am the Lord.”

Ezekiel 22:15-16

15 uI will scatter you among the nations and disperse you through the countries, and vI will consume your uncleanness out of you. 16And wyou shall be profaned by your own doing xin the sight of the nations, yand you shall know that I am the Lord.”
