Jeremiah 15:15

15 aO Lord, you know;
bremember me and visit me,
c, dand take vengeance for me on my persecutors.
In your forbearance take me not away;
eknow that ffor your sake I bear reproach.

Matthew 5:10-12

10 gBlessed are those who are persecuted for righteousnesssake, for htheirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 iBlessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely jon my account. 12 kRejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for lso they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 10:18-22

39 xWhoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 16:25

25For ywhoever would save his life
The same Greek word can mean either soul or  life, depending on the context; twice in this verse and twice in verse 26
will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

Matthew 19:29

29 aaAnd everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold
