Jeremiah 15:2

2And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

a“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’

Jeremiah 21:7

7Afterward, declares the Lord, bI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. cHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’

Jeremiah 24:10

10And I will send dsword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

Jeremiah 32:24

24Behold, ethe siege mounds have come up to the city to take it, and fbecause of sword and famine and pestilence gthe city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What you spoke has come to pass, and behold, you see it.

Jeremiah 32:36

They Shall Be My People; I Will Be Their God

36Now therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city of which you say, h‘It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword, by famine, and by pestilence’:

Jeremiah 47:6-7

6 iAh, sword of the Lord!
How long till you are quiet?
Put yourself into your scabbard;
rest and be still!
7How can it
Septuagint, Vulgate; Hebrew you
be quiet
kwhen the Lord has given it a charge?
Against lAshkelon and against the seashore
mhe has appointed it.”

Ezekiel 14:17-21

17Or nif I bring a sword upon that land and say, Let a sword pass through the land, oand I cut off from it man and beast, 18 pthough these three men were in it, as I live, declares the Lord God, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they alone would be delivered.

19Or qif I send a pestilence into that land and pour out my wrath upon it with blood, to cut off from it man and beast, 20even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, declares the Lord God, they would deliver neither son nor daughter. They would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness.

21For thus says the Lord God: How much more rwhen I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, ssword, tfamine, uwild beasts, and vpestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!
