Jeremiah 16:11-13

11 then you shall say to them: ^a‘Because your fathers have forsaken me, declares the Lord, and ^bhave gone after other gods and have served and worshiped them, and have forsaken me and have not kept my law, 12 and because ^cyou have done worse than your fathers, for behold, ^devery one of you follows his stubborn, evil will, refusing to listen to me. 13 Therefore ^eI will hurl you out of this land into ^fa land that neither you nor your fathers have known, ^gand there you shall serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.’

Jeremiah 16:19

19 ^hO Lord, my strength and my stronghold,
ⁱmy refuge in the day of trouble,
^jto you shall the nations come
from the ends of the earth and say:
“Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies,
^kworthless things in which there is no profit.

Ezekiel 18:19-20

Malachi 3:7
