Jeremiah 17:7-8

7 aBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
bwhose trust is the Lord.
8 cHe is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Romans 4:16

16That is why it depends on faith, din order that the promise may rest on grace and ebe guaranteed to all his offspringnot only to the adherent of the law but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, fwho is the father of us all,

Romans 5:5-10

5and ghope does not put us to shame, because God’s love hhas been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

6For iwhile we were still weak, at the right time jChrist died for the ungodly. 7For one will scarcely die for a righteous personthough perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die 8but kGod shows his love for us in that lwhile we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9Since, therefore, mwe have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from nthe wrath of God. 10For if owhile we were enemies pwe were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by qhis life.

Romans 8:28-39

28And we know that for those who love God all things work together rfor good,
Some manuscripts  God works all things together for good, or God works in all things for the good
for tthose who are called according to his purpose.
29For those whom he uforeknew he also vpredestined wto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be xthe firstborn among many brothers. 30And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also yjustified, and those whom he justified he also zglorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31What then shall we say to these things? aaIf God is for us, who can be
Or  who is
against us?
32 acHe who did not spare his own Son but adgave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? 33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? aeIt is God who justifies. 34 afWho is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raisedagwho is at the right hand of God, ahwho indeed is interceding for us.
Or Is it Christ Jesus who died . . . for us?
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36As it is written,

aj“For your sake akwe are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
37No, in all these things we are more than alconquerors through amhim who loved us. 38For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:58

58 anTherefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in aothe work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord apyour labor is not in vain.

2 Timothy 2:19

19But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: aq“The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone arwho names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”
