Jeremiah 19:7-12

7And in this place aI will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem, band will cause their people to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. cI will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth. 8And I will make this city da horror, ea thing to be hissed at. Everyone who passes by it will be horrified and will hiss because of all its wounds. 9 fAnd I will make them eat the flesh of their sons and their daughters, and everyone shall eat the flesh of his neighbor gin the siege and in the distress, with which their enemies and those who seek their life afflict them.’

10“Then hyou shall break ithe flask in the sight of the men who go with you, 11and shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, jas one breaks a potter’s vessel, kso that it can never be mended. lMen shall bury in Topheth because there will be no place else to bury. 12Thus will I do to this place, declares the Lord, and to its inhabitants, making this city mlike Topheth.

Jeremiah 20:5

5Moreover, nI will give all the wealth of the city, all its gains, all its oprized belongings, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah into the hand of their enemies, who shall plunder them and seize them and carry them to Babylon.

Jeremiah 32:3

3For Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him, saying, “Why do you prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: pBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall capture it;

Jeremiah 32:24

24Behold, qthe siege mounds have come up to the city to take it, and rbecause of sword and famine and pestilence sthe city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What you spoke has come to pass, and behold, you see it.

Jeremiah 32:36

They Shall Be My People; I Will Be Their God

36Now therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, concerning this city of which you say, t‘It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword, by famine, and by pestilence’:
