Jeremiah 2:22-24

22Though you wash yourself with lye
and use much soap,
athe stain of your guilt is still before me,

declares the Lord God.
23 bHow can you say, ‘I am not unclean,
I have not gone after the Baals’?
Look at your way cin the valley;
know what you have done
a restless young camel running here and there,
24 da wild donkey used to the wilderness,
in her heat sniffing the wind!
Who can restrain her lust?
None who seek her need weary themselves;
in her month they will find her.

Jeremiah 2:35

Titus 1:15-16

15 sTo the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and tunbelieving, nothing is pure; but both utheir minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 vThey profess to know God, but they wdeny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, xunfit for any good work.
