Jeremiah 2:28

28But awhere are your gods
that you made for yourself?
Let them arise, bif they can save you,
in your time of trouble;
for cas many as your cities
are your gods, O Judah.

Hosea 2:8

8And dshe did not know
that it was eI who gave her
fthe grain, the wine, and the oil,
and who lavished on gher silver and gold,
hwhich they used for Baal.

Hosea 8:4

4 iThey made kings, jbut not through me.
They set up princes, but I knew it not.
With their silver and gold they made idols
for their own destruction.

Hosea 8:11

11 Because Ephraim khas multiplied altars for sinning,
they have become to him altars for sinning.

Hosea 12:8

8Ephraim has said, “Ah, but lI am rich;
I have found wealth for myself;
in all my labors mthey cannot find in me iniquity or sin.”

Hosea 12:11

11 nIf there is iniquity in Gilead,
they shall surely come to nothing:
oin Gilgal they sacrifice bulls;
ptheir altars also are like stone heaps
qon the furrows of the field.

Hosea 13:2

2And now they sin more and more,
and rmake for themselves metal images,
idols skillfully made of their silver,
sall of them the work of craftsmen.
It is said of them,
“Those who offer human sacrifice tkiss calves!”

Hosea 13:6

6 ubut when they had grazed,
Hebrew according to their pasture
they became full,
wthey were filled, and their heart was lifted up;
xtherefore they forgot me.
