Jeremiah 2:5

5 Thus says the Lord:

^a“What wrong did your fathers find in me
that they went far from me,
^band went after ^cworthlessness, and became worthless?

Jeremiah 2:11

11 ^dHas a nation changed its gods,
^eeven though they are no gods?
But my people ^fhave changed their glory
for ^gthat which does not profit.

Jeremiah 2:13

13 for my people have committed two evils:
^hthey have forsaken ⁱme,
the fountain of ^jliving waters,
and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.
