Jeremiah 21:4

4 ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: ^aBehold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands and with which you are fighting against the king of Babylon and against the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the walls. ^bAnd I will bring them together into the midst of this city.

Jeremiah 21:10

10 For ^cI have set my face against this city for harm and ^dnot for good, declares the Lord: ^eit shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.’

Jeremiah 32:3

3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him, saying, “Why do you prophesy and say, ‘Thus says the Lord: ^fBehold, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall capture it;

Jeremiah 32:28-29

28 Therefore, thus says the Lord: ^gBehold, I am giving this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall capture it. 29 The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city ^hshall come and set this city on fire and burn it, ⁱwith the houses on whose roofs offerings have been made to Baal ^jand drink offerings have been poured out to other gods, ^kto provoke me to anger.

Jeremiah 34:22

22 Behold, ^lI will command, declares the Lord, and will ^mbring them back to this city. ⁿAnd they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire. ^oI will make the cities of Judah a desolation ^pwithout inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 37:8-10

8 And ^qthe Chaldeans shall come back and fight against this city. ^rThey shall capture it and burn it with fire. 9 Thus says the Lord, Do not deceive yourselves, saying, “The Chaldeans will surely go away from us,” for they will not go away. 10 ^sFor even if you should defeat the whole army of Chaldeans who are fighting against you, and there remained of them only wounded men, every man in his tent, they would rise up and ^tburn this city with fire.’”

Jeremiah 38:23

23 All your wives and ^uyour sons shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon, and this city shall be burned with fire.”

Jeremiah 39:8

8 ^vThe Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the house of the people, ^wand broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
