Jeremiah 21:7

7Afterward, declares the Lord, aI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. bHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’

Jeremiah 24:8

8But thus says the Lord: Like cthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat dZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who edwell in the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 7:27

Can one escape who does such things? Can he sbreak the covenant and yet escape?

16 t“As I live, declares the Lord God, surely uin the place where the king dwells vwho made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die. 17 wPharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, xwhen mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives. 18He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape. 19Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head. 20 yI will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon zand enter into judgment with him there aafor the treachery he has committed against me. 21And all the pick
