Jeremiah 21:7
7Afterward, declares the Lord, aI will give Zedekiah king of Judah and his servants and the people in this city who survive the pestilence, sword, and famine into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, into the hand of those who seek their lives. He shall strike them down with the edge of the sword. bHe shall not pity them or spare them or have compassion.’Jeremiah 24:8-10
8“But thus says the Lord: Like cthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat dZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who edwell in the land of Egypt. 9I will make them fa horror ▼▼Compare Septuagint; Hebrew horror for evil
to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be ha reproach, ia byword, ja taunt, and ka curse in all the places where I shall drive them. 10And I will send lsword, famine, and pestilence upon them, until they shall be utterly destroyed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.” Jeremiah 34:19-21
19the officials of Judah, the officials of Jerusalem, mthe eunuchs, the priests, and all the people of the land who passed between the parts of the calf. 20And I will give them into the hand of their enemies nand into the hand of those who seek their lives. oTheir dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth. 21And pZedekiah king of Judah and his officials I will give into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of the army of the king of Babylon qwhich has withdrawn from you.
