Jeremiah 21:8-9

8“And to this people you shall say: aThus says the Lord: Behold, bI set before you the way of life and the way of death. 9He who stays in this city shall die cby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out and dsurrenders to the Chaldeans who are besieging you shall live eand shall have his life as a prize of war.

Jeremiah 24:8

8But thus says the Lord: Like fthe bad figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten, so will I treat gZedekiah the king of Judah, his officials, the remnant of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who hdwell in the land of Egypt.

Jeremiah 27:13

13 iWhy will you and your people die jby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, kas the Lord has spoken concerning any nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

Jeremiah 29:18

18I will pursue them with lsword, famine, and pestilence, mand will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, nto be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations owhere I have driven them,

Jeremiah 34:17

17Therefore, thus says the Lord: You have not obeyed me pby proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother and to his neighbor; qbehold, I proclaim to you liberty rto the sword, to pestilence, and to famine, declares the Lord. sI will make you a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

Jeremiah 38:17-23

17Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah, “Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: tIf you will surrender to uthe officials of the king of Babylon, vthen your life shall be spared, and this city shall not be burned with fire, and you and your house shall live. 18But if you do not surrender to wthe officials of the king of Babylon, xthen this city shall be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, yand they shall burn it with fire, and you shall not escape from their hand.” 19King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah, “I am afraid of the Judeans zwho have deserted to the Chaldeans, lest I be handed over to them and they deal cruelly with me.” 20Jeremiah said, “You shall not be given to them. Obey now the voice of the Lord in what I say to you, aaand it shall be well with you, and your life shall be spared. 21But if you refuse to absurrender, this is the vision which the Lord has shown to me: 22Behold, all the women left in the house of the king of Judah were being led out to the officials of the king of Babylon and were saying,

ac“‘Your trusted friends have deceived you
and prevailed against you;
now that your feet are sunk in the mud,
they turn away from you.’
23All your wives and adyour sons shall be led out to the Chaldeans, and you yourself shall not escape from their hand, but shall be seized by the king of Babylon, and this city shall be burned with fire.”

Jeremiah 42:17

17All the men who set their faces to go to Egypt to live there shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence. They shall have aeno remnant or survivor from the disaster that I will bring upon them.

Jeremiah 42:22

22 afNow therefore know for a certainty that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.”

Jeremiah 44:13

13 agI will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, with the sword, with famine, and with pestilence,
