Matthew 7:24-27

Build Your House on the Rock

24 cEveryone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like da wise man who built his house on the rock. 25And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like ea foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Matthew 13:19-23

19When anyone hears the word of fthe kingdom and gdoes not understand it, hthe evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown along the path. 20As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is the one who hears the word and immediately ireceives it with joy, 21yet he has no root in himself, but jendures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately khe falls away.
Or stumbles
22As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but mthe cares of nthe world and othe deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. 23As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and punderstands it. He indeed qbears fruit and yields, in one case ra hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”

Matthew 13:38-43

38The field is the world, and the good seed is sthe sons of the kingdom. The weeds are tthe sons of the evil one, 39and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. uThe harvest is vthe end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40Just as the weeds ware gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at xthe end of the age. 41 yThe Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all zcauses of sin and aaall law-breakers, 42 aband throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place acthere will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43Then adthe righteous will shine like the sun aein the kingdom of their Father. afHe who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 13:47-48

The Parable of the Net

47Again, the kingdom of heaven is aglike a net that was thrown into the sea and ahgathered fish of every kind. 48When it was full, aimen drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad.

Matthew 22:10-11

10And those servants went out into the roads and ajgathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there aka man who had no wedding garment.

Warning Against Idolatry

1For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters
that our fathers were all under amthe cloud, and all anpassed through the sea,
2and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, 3and aoall ate the same apspiritual food, 4and aqall drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ. 5Nevertheless, with most of them God was not pleased, for arthey were overthrown
Or  were laid low
in the wilderness.
