Jeremiah 24:5-6

5Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the exiles from Judah, awhom I have sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans. 6 bI will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. cI will build them up, and not tear them down; dI will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Lamentations 3:26-33

26 eIt is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
27 fIt is good for a man that he bear
the yoke gin his youth.
28 Let him hsit alone in silence
when it is laid on him;
29 ilet him put his mouth in the dust
there may yet be hope;
30 jlet him give his cheek to the one who strikes,
and let him be filled with insults.
31 kFor the Lord will not
cast off forever,
32but, though he lcause grief, mhe will have compassion
naccording to the abundance of his steadfast love;
33 ofor he does not afflict from his heart
or pgrieve the children of men.

Romans 8:28

28And we know that for those who love God all things work together qfor good,

for sthose who are called according to his purpose.

2 Corinthians 4:17

17For tthis light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,

Hebrews 12:10-11

10For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, uthat we may share his holiness. 11 vFor the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields wthe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

James 1:12

12 xBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive ythe crown of life, zwhich God has promised to those who love him.
