Jeremiah 24:5-6

5 “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the exiles from Judah, ^awhom I have sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans. 6 ^bI will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. ^cI will build them up, and not tear them down; ^dI will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Lamentations 3:26-33

26 ^eIt is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
27 ^fIt is good for a man that he bear
the yoke ^gin his youth.

when it is laid on him;

Romans 8:28

Hebrews 12:10-11

10 For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, ^uthat we may share his holiness. 11 ^vFor the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields ^wthe peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

James 1:12
