Jeremiah 24:5-7

5 “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so I will regard as good the exiles from Judah, ^awhom I have sent away from this place to the land of the Chaldeans. 6 ^bI will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them back to this land. ^cI will build them up, and not tear them down; ^dI will plant them, and not pluck them up. 7 ^eI will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, ^fand they shall be my people ^gand I will be their God, ^hfor they shall return to me with their whole heart.

Hosea 9:10

10 Like grapes in the wilderness,
ⁱI found Israel.
Like the first fruit on the fig tree
in its first season,
I saw your fathers.
But ^jthey came to Baal-peor
and ^kconsecrated themselves to the thing of shame,
and ^lbecame detestable like the thing they loved.

Wait for the God of Salvation
